The three sections we run are as follows:

  1. A first section of class IV , truly White Waters for the expert paddler and physically fitted
  2. The 13 Km of Classes II and III for adventure enjoyment for  people from 9 to 60 years old
  3. The lower section for nature enjoyment at its fullest in what we call a River Safari.

History

For 50 years the Sarapiquí River was the route to travel to and from Costa Rica , a 60 Miles horse or oxcart ride to Puerto Viejo, followed by boat ride to the San Juan River where river steamships belonging to Mr. Cornelius Vanderbilt's Transit Company transporting forty-niners from New York to San Francisco would move people and freight

White water rafting has been practiced since the 70's and today Sarapiquí is one of the popular rivers to practice this exciting adventure, and it is known as the clean and scenic river of Costa Rica.
